Walter
(attr.) End of 18th century – beginning of 19th century.

The constructional traits and the shape of the body hint to Anton Walter (1752-1826) or to his school.
Mozart owned a Walter toward the end of his life. The instruments of Anton Walter, along with those of Johann Andreas Stein, were his favorites. It was on pianos having these traits that the great composer and pianist from Salzburg hence composed and played with utter satisfaction his sonatas, concerts, and variations.
