The Masiero and Centanin Music Foundation, established in 1997, is based in Arquà Petrarca in the Euganean Hills in the province of Padua.

A Museum of Fortepianos and Antique Pianos, a permanent Exhibition of Musical Instruments of the Folk Tradition and Mechanical Reproduction Instruments is set up in the facilities of the Villa Centanin property complex. A collection of antique prints on musical topics is placed on the walls of the exhibition rooms.

Courses in Musical Interpretation on period instruments 2026

One of the Foundation’s aims concerns both the recovery of musical evidence from past eras such as manuscripts and historical editions, recordings, fortepianos and pianos, and their restoration. Another area of activities addresses the study of the functional and sonic characteristics of historical instruments and the search for documentary evidence that can shed light on the performance and interpretation methods on such instruments.
