The Tomaschek piano factory met with considerable success in Italy. For many years, Giuseppe Verdi used a Tomaschek piano from the same period and with the same characteristics as this one; the piano is now to be found in Casa Barezzi at Busseto, home to the Associazione Amici di Verdi and to the museum of Verdi mementoes and documents
