Anault Kunstmann
Anault Kunstmann in Cottbus ca. 1830.

Little or nothing is known about this maker, except that he worked in Cottbus between 1825 and 1840. The exemplar, made of French walnut, has exquisite cabinet-making, rich in maple and bois de rose inlays, and was probably made for an aristocratic family, as can be seen from the coat-of-arms reproduced on the dampers rail.
A noteworthy feature is the action with which it is equipped, viennese, and not English as was normally used in northern Germany.
