Among the various forms adopted for the construction of upright pianos, the so-called \u201cCabinet\u201d piano became quite popular in the first decades of the 19th century, especially in England, due to its similarity to this particular type of furniture. Unlike other upright piano models, the \u201cCabinet\u201d piano, taking advantage of the full height of the furniture, is equipped with strings of a length similar to that of grand pianos.<\/p>\n
